What does (CRNE TEST)

Either you may have heard or you have been told, that the German language is really hard to learn, or you maybe got this feeling, when you heard this language from the Medias. But you must understand, that German language is one of the beautiful languages in the world, which has much influence, scope and relevance in the World! As a Malayali or an Indian, it’s easy to learn German language. This is because the German language is a part of Germanic languages, a group of Indo-European languages, which share plenty of similarities with other Germanic languages like English or Dutch etc.

As a keralite, I am proud to say, that I am gifted to be born in such a unique country, which has currently 22 official languages and more than a thousand dialects! That’s why I am sure that, each Malayali knows more than three languages, which he/she has learned himself/herself.

There are also some similarities between German and English. If you know English well, it definitely helps you to learn German language easily. Many German words have equivalent English pronunciation or it look as it is. That is why we can say, that both languages share the same “grandparent.” For example:

Name = name, Mutter = mother, schwimmen = swim, singen = to sing, kommen = to come, blau = blue, alt = old, Haus = house, Buch = book, Finger = finger, Hand = hand, Bus = Bus, Dialog = Dialogue, Evolution = Evolution, Million = Million, Hobby = Hooby, Generation = Generation, Tiger = Tiger

And there are some Malayalam and Sanskrit words, which have the similar pronunciation and meaning in German.

The German language has 26 letters, just like English. But there are a few letters with pronunciation that doesn’t exist in English: ä,ö,ü and β.
